First OBGYN appointment......
Today was our first OBGYN appt with Dr. Wynne. We got all kinds of goodies and got to hear the heartbeat again! I really couldn't tell if it was fast or slow and they didn't tell me, so Elizabeth and Jenny.....no predictions! Everything looked great, but we don't get to find out the sex until the FIRST WEEK IN DECEMBER! Ughhhhh.....that is sooooo long (at 20 weeks, which is 10.5 more weeks). All in all, Trent and I were relieved to hear the heartbeat and can't wait until we go back in October. Forgot my camara, so no pics today:(

And you thought it was just GOLF.....
nope, Trent is also obsessed with war games on his XBox 360 that he plays in the evenings. However, I assure you that this will have to come to an end, in the evenings at least, because we can't have the poor baby going to sleep with sounds of guns and people getting killed. See, Trent doesn't play this game so that only he can hear it, but he puts the volume so high that I am sure the neighbors hear it!

In the back of a tailgating RV......
Trent gave me my LAST shot of progesterone! In addition, I am DONE with Metformin.........the Booher Pharmacy is slowly shutting down! I am now, officially, a normal pregnant woman and not an "in vitro" case!!!! Yesterday, we went to the TTU vs U of H (sniff, sniff....terrible loss) game and had to the pleasure of administering the last of about 13 weeks of daily injections in an old man's RV bathroom! I would have taken a picture, but I honestly don't think there was enough room to even bring in my camara!
Alex and her friend Abi came in to town for the game. I love when I see Alex and Reagan.....quick review on what's in style! I went shopping with Alex, of course, and she helped me out in the fashion department! I would just walk behind her and anything she picked up, so did I:) So, for my birthday present, Trent bought me some ankle boots. According to Alex, I can wear these with skirts, dresses, pregnancy leggings, and skinny (we may not do this) jeans. The Williams also gave the baby a TTU onesie and pacifiers!
Overall, I had a wonderful weekend. Oh, when I went to tailgate with my Ozarka water in hand, people could actually tell I was pregnant:)
PS: Did you notice that I added music to my blog:) It will skip amoung 9 songs, so I hope that each time you visit, it will be a new song.
My new "ankle" boots.......these jeans are un-buttoned and if it weren't for my ever-expanding
thighs and hips, I don't think they would have stayed up!

"My" first TTU gameday outfit!

Throwing out the meds.....

I spoke too soon.....
Last week I was a "big talker" and posted that I didn't have symptoms and felt great. Just as I said that, things changed. Lately, I have been nauseated. However, I hear that nausea is a sign of a healthy pregnancy, so each time I throw up, I do it with a smile on my face:) Then, today I was driving home from Dallas and thought my nose was running. Much to my surprise, I went to wipe my nose and the blood started flowing.....ahhhhhh! This was a little startling and being the hypochondriac that I am, I was sure I was having a frontal brain hemorrage and bleeding out my nose. I found out that this is not unusual for someone pregnant......lets just hope this doesn't happen again in public! Overall, this past week I have definitely felt pregnant and am greatful for all the symptoms. I take them as confirmation that everything is going well. For all you women out there that have yet to be pregnant, one good sign........big boobs!!!! I always thought that happened at the end, but NO MAM............I am officially a full-chested Pamela Anderson (little exaggerated)!!!!!!!!
Like I said above, I went to Dallas this weekend for a shoulder course and stayed with Kasey and Blake. Kasey got the wonderful opportunity of giving me my daily shot of progesterone......she was more scared and apprehensive than I was.....

Goodbye 45 min drive.......
hello just down the street! I found a job in Sugar Land! Living in Dallas, I worked as an OT for and outpatient ortho/burn clinic and loved it. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find a job like that since living in Houston. I FOUND IT! I am working for the Methodist hospital system in an outpatient orthopedic clinic. I will be working 3-5 days a week, hopefully only 3! The plan is to work until the baby arrives, take off a few months, and then return 3 days/week. Now the only problem will be finding a nanny for my little "Spring Chicken."
Oh, and one more thing.......I can't get my little countdown chick above to point to the correct day. I am actually 8 weeks and 4 days:)

It is so crazy........
.......that something so small can suck every ounce of energy you have! Many of asked how I am feeling. Luckily, I am basically feeling great. Other than being extremely tired, I do get occasional headaches. I have to admit that I am a little cranky, but Trent may argue that this isn't unusual! I have not had any nausea......knock on wood! I still look pregnant, even at seven weeks (and three days to be exact!). I have cysts on my ovaries that are making my abdomen swell. According to the doctor, these probably won't go done until the 12th week. So, I am guessing that for the next 10 months, my stomach will be expanding! This is fine with me.....I just walk around and rub my stomach like I always see pregnant women doing.....just pretending that the pooch is a baby:)
We went to are second ultrasound appt today and got to hear the heartbeat again......oh my gosh, I can't believe this is finally happening for us! Everything looked great. The baby more than doubled in size in a week (from 4.5 mm to 11.1 mm) and the heart rate was 144 beats/minute. According to Elizabeth a slow heart rate can indicate a boy (144 is on the slower end). Who knows....but, the Chinese Lunar calendar also says I am having a boy:) Here is a picture of the little bean.........

It doesn't get any better than these people....
Now for the great grandparents! Trent and I are very close to our grandparents and are looking forward to them being a big part of our baby's life.
My Grandparents....aka: Nana and Gonky--Nana and Gonky have been married 60 years! They are my dad's parents, and in my opinion, the world's best grandparents. Growing up, they never missed one dance recital, basketball game, track meet, awards assembly, etc. Not many people can say that! They are truly one of kind, and I hope to bring the little one back home to Levelland as much as possible.
Trent's grandmother...aka: Nama--Nama is Celinda's mother. She also has been very involved in Trent's life and lives not too far from us. She will make a wonderful babysitter and role model. Her Christian lifestyle is definitely something we want our child to follow, and we both look forward to her guidance in the raising of our children.
Trent's grandmother....aka: Granny--Granny is Jake's mother......sweetest women in the world! She also lives close to us and looks forward to meeting the new addition. Her vote is for a GIRL! Hopefully our child, gets Granny's sweet and patient temperment (something I don't believe Trent and I can pass on!).
****Shoot, Granny's picture was also on my old computer. I will also try to hunt for those tomorrow.
Now, tomorrow I will post pics of the 2 aunts and 1 uncle. I now have to try and figure out how to put this blog to music!
Goodnight and sweet dreams.....

Grandparents
Our parents and grandparents might be just as excited if not more about our new addition! Our little one, is going to have the best grandparents and will definitely be LOVED!

My Mom----we don't have a name for her just yet. Trying to make it good and original! Trent and I are hoping that she comes down to see us as much as possible. I am confident that I will be a good mother because I learned from the best!
My Dad--He may not be with us, but I know that he will be a guardian angel for our little one. He would always talk about his future grandchild (hoping for a grandson, I am sure)! He would say that he was making a go cart path in the backyard! Well, I can promise that my child will know all about him, and I am sure he is celebrating in Heaven as we speak! It is my hope that our child will possess a few, if not all of the wonderful qualities of Larry Harder (and most of all, his sense of humor).....
Trent's Mom--another guardian angel:) What a grandmother she would be! Celinda would already have our babies clothes made, room organized, play date scheduled, etc! I so wish that she was here to give me advice, as she raised two amazing children and was a model wife and mother. Again, our child will know all about his grandmother and the wonderful person that she was.......
Trent's dad and his wife, Pat----We plan to call them Jake and Red (If that is what they agree to, of course). They too are so excited and even building a pool to make sure that they too will get time with him/her! Jake thinks this baby's name is going to be Larry Robert, but boy do I have news for him! I am so excited to live close to the both of them, as the will make wonderful grandparents and role models....

Tomorrow night I will post great grandparents and aunts/uncle! Goodnight.....what a great day:)
OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG.........
BLAHHHHHHHHH.......I CAN FINALLY TELL PEOPLE! TRENT AND I ARE HAVING A BABY! Now, everyone can quit hearing me cry and complain! This post was set up for my family to follow me, and I hope to print it out and give it to our little one. So, sometimes I may make comments that are meant for the baby! To make a long story short (as most of you know I am not by any means a "Chatty Kathy"), Trent and I have wanted a baby for a LONG time (we started trying in March 2008 despite what Suzanne and Elizabeth say). After monthS of trying, we went to a fertility specialist and tried EVERYTHING they had to offer. In vitro finally worked. On August 15, I went to give blood and was told that they would call me around noon with the results. I was in the shower at 10:12 exactly, and I heard the phone ring. I scrambled out of the shower, just in case. IT WAS DR. MCKENSIE! My heart dropped.....I answered the phone. All I remember hearing was, "You're pregnant." The tears came rolling down. I can wholeheartedly say that August 15th goes down as the best day of my life. I have a wonderful husband and a baby on the way........life couldn't get better. I hope to keep this blog as updated as I can, and hope you enjoy it. Oh.......our little bundle is due April 26th. And yes, of course we are finding out the sex of the baby! I am not one for surprises!
August 15th....I just found out!
