Between all this hot, dry weather, work, play, golf tournaments and friends, I am now getting around to updating my blog. First and foremost, Brooks is doing WONDERFUL at Primrose. This is such a relief for Trent and me:) He walks in his little room like he owns the place, looks and me and then says "bye bye mama." Doesn't make me sad at all! I love that he loves it. We have spent much of our time this summer looking for places to play that are indoors. Thankfully, we have a great neighbor that moved next to us and has a child the same age as Brooks. She knows ALL the places to take the kiddos, and we have enjoyed our time with them.
There has been a first for Trent and me this summer........TEMPER TANTRUMS! This kiddo can throw 'em like a champion. Our "spirited" little guy can throw himself on the floor, bang his head on the wood floor, demolish the decorations on the coffee table and scream until the neighbors come knocking..........all because I gave him milk instead of water, watermelon instead of cantaloupe, didn't give him the knife he was pointing to, shut the door when he wanted it open, etc. You get the point. Why and when does this end? Trent recently video'd one of the fits and when he asked my mom what she thought, her reply was "he got the gene." "What gene?" asked Trent. My mom replied with "the Kristin gene." I don't think I was the easiest baby. You pay for your raising, right?
My new big boy hair cut.....the faux hawk

I put this picture on here because this is a typical situation at our house. Brooks tugs at my leg throughout the day. I have become very good at vacuuming, styling my hair, cooking, laundry, etc with this extra little appendage!

"Boo!" Aunt Kasey gave Brooks this tunnel for his birthday and it is now like another piece of furniture in the living room.

We visited the children's museum in Houston, and there were so many toys that Brooks was mesmerized by.
T-party.....yes, boys can play that too!

This is Mia.....our new neighbor! Brooks loved this little car.

Giant light bright

This kind of stuff amazes me.....where did he learn this? I swear I never taught him how to put gas in the tank!

Okay, Primrose actually has "homework!" This little yellow puppet's name is Erwin. He is the "class pet" for Brooks' classroom. We had to bring him home and take pictures of Brooks with their "pet." There was a notebook I had to document this in and then write all we did with Erwin.....wow!

Look at the little family!

The first time I met Hallie....seriously, does it get any cuter than this little thing?

Typical....Brooks squirming and screaming and Sydney calm as can be!
