Summer Time Fun......

Lots of pics to follow!  We have had such a fun beginning to the summer.  Mama Tuff (as Brooks calls me) is growing by the day and thankful that this summer hasn't been as hot as last!  Our little girl is due 3 months from today, and we are getting more and more anxious.  Brooks has NO idea what's about to go down.......he now points to HIS tummy and says, "Baby in there."  Not sure he gets it!
Loves to sing.......favorite song:  "Happy Birthday to Brooks."
Colonel (Aunt Karen)....such a sport!
Morgan came to Sugar Land for awhile, and Brooks couldn't have received more attention!  What a fun weekend and LOVED having her around.
 Brooksie loves wrestling with Dad
Aunt Hayley

Natalie also came!  When we go swimming now, Brooks says, "Natalie going to be there?"
 Little Miss Sydney
 Golf lesson by Morgan
 Worn out!
His GREAT Aunt Rhonda.....Rhondi!!  He always asks to see pictures on the computer of "Rhondi"
Helping Mama Tuff in the kitchen.......the things we do to keep these kiddos occupied.  This activity really set off Trent's OCD.  Rice was everywhere!
Even in his mouth!  How well does uncooked rice digest???
27 weeks....she sits much lower than Brooks
Baking ("painting" as Brooks refers to icing) 4th of July cookies

Out of order but couldn't leave it out.....too cute!

Our family is complete......

Now that we are having a little baby GIRL!!!!!!  On Wednesday, May 16th, Trent and I sat patiently waiting for the sonogram tech to tell us we were having a little girl.  I have to admit that I was a little shocked as I was sure I was having another boy.  Now that it is sunk in, I wouldn't have it any other way and am enjoying looking at the cute, little clothes already!  Trent's first reaction, "So, does this mean I have to pay for a wedding??"  Yes sir, it does!  He, too, is excited about his first daughter.

21 weeks

Remember the last time Trent and I had Chinese take-out?  Our fortune cookie said that we would be getting a nice surprise.....we soon found out we were pregnant.  Last week we, again, ordered Chinese.  Look what our fortune cookies said!
"A small gift can bring joy to the whole family." (baby girl)
Trent opened it, and it said..."daughter!"  This is no lie, folks!
Back-tracking!  Brooks turned 2 on April 22nd.  He has grown so much in the past 6 months.  We love hearing his little voice and the language emerge.  He now can answer questions, ask questions and form full sentences......cliche, I know, but it is so fun watching these little ones explore and learn new things daily. I just love him!

Even at 2 years old, we still carry "uh-oh" with us everywhere.

Happy Easter!!!

Keeping with tradition....Brooks is sick on yet another holiday. Christmas Day and now Easter...poor baby!
And this is how we ended the day.....103* temp. (He is NEVER this still!)
Pitiful
Between doses of Tylenol, he watched the Masters with his attire on, of course!

Before the storm hit.....we enjoyed brunch on the golf course (what did you expect!)

Successful egg hunt outside. However, once he realized there was candy in some of the eggs, we spent most of the time eating instead of hunting.

Easter breakfast while watching Thomas the Train
Easter basket fun
Easter basket
Dying eggs.....they all turned out brown as he dipped the eggs in EVERY color!
Easter parade and egg hunt at school
Man on a mission
In line for the parade.....yea right, good luck with that one!
Rounding the corner!

Now begins the annoying posts.....

Since I posted each and every step of Brooks' pregnancy, I have to do the same for Baby Booher #2, right?

Brooks the size of a lime!

Baby #2 the size of a lime.....12 weeks.
Yes, I will come up with a nickname for this baby once we find out the gender (first week of May).

It all started.....

on January 19th when we decided to order Chinese takeout. Below was my fortune in my cookie....

"Happy news is on its way to you." I knew it!!!!!
And just like my fortune said, on January 23rd we found out that Brooks is expecting a sibling! Yep, those things DO mean something! Baby Booher #2 is due October 4th (great people are born on October 4, by the way!)
Brooks playing "horsee" on Jake
Giddy-up (is that one word?)
Chucky Cheese

Making (well, should I say eating) cookies at Layton's birthday
A day in the life of a toddler: We started out Saturday morning with Brooks clamping his upper lip in the curling iron (it wasn't hot!). We then went to park where Brooks took off his shoes with his feet planted IN AN ANT BED. Thirty+ ant bites later and we luckily still have our feet! Then, we get home for a much needed nap. Brooks wakes up, finds the coffee pot, fills with water from the bath faucet and pours all over our sweet Sam (in the house, of course). IT'S LIKE THIS EVERYDAY FOLKS.
Now, we go EVERYWHERE with the coffee pot mentioned above. Asleep in the car with "uh oh" in place and still holding the coffee pot.
Not a good depiction of the ant bites, but it'll work.
I caved and we now have sand everywhere. He manages to throw sand all over the porch. Bad, bad idea.
"What's up, Momma?"
Ready to go. Sunglasses....check. Dust buster....check. Watch out world!
